Keith Rothwell to carry the Olympic Flame

Our very own Keith Rothwell has been selected as one of the torch bearers in the 2012 London Olympics torch relay.

Each of the 20 thousand nominees had their inspirational stories judged by panels from all over the country, to select just 8000 to carry the flame.

The torch will be lit using the Sun’s rays at the Temple of Hera, in Greece and will then travel to the UK for the relay.

The torch features 8000 cut out circles representing each one of the selected bearers, as well as the 8000 mile journey it will take across the length and breadth of the UK.

We are very proud of Keith and participating in this prestigious event is a fitting tribute to the hard work he continues to do for charity.
